Professor Sackier, FRCS, FACS, DSc (Hon cause) was involved in the laparoscopic surgical revolution and also helped develop and promulgate robotic assistance. Jonathan attended the University of Liverpool, trained as a surgeon in the UK and was recruited to the USA in 1989. As a Professor at George Washington University, he founded, and funded the Washington Institute of Surgical Innovation and has been an advocate for teaching, innovation and health awareness. He has published and presented widely and been honoured for his work around the world
Jonathan’s expertise in surgical techniques helps the company in the development of their products and technologies for surgery and operating theatres. He is the first surgeon to enhance our Board of Directors and will reinforce our strategy to provide the most technologically advanced products to the healthcare sector.
